While much of the music world is producing albums based around a few hit singles, The Matt Stansberry Band (MSB) has spent the past year creating an album that is best experienced from beginning to end, start to finish. The band set out to create a beautiful record that takes the listener through a unique experience where every song is different, has its own identity, yet necessary to the whole.

We.Want.Change. reflects the band's broad dynamic range as they showcase some of their most intense, high-energy moments captured on tape (Things You Wish For, The Saga, The Saga Continues) and explore a much mellower side (Their Favorite Song, You Could Find Love, Today's the Day). Matt has dug deep to write songs and melodies that speak from his heart and soul, dealing with the fear and huge since of responsibility associated with the birth of his first child (Expecting Days), frustration with those that abuse their fame or political position (Watch What You Say, Salute with Pride) and believing that uniting together can lead to real change (We Want Change). This project is a true collaboration of the band. In many regards, the MSB has held this project very close, but has managed to open the creative floodgates with some additional talent. Accordion, gospel vocals, horns and a variety of featured instruments, new to the band's repertoire, have all contributed to the success of achieving what the band set out to create...a beautiful album.
