I'm in the studio working with a very talented young artist on some great demos. I'm producing Kelsey Humphrey's debut full-length album currently titled More To This Life (album title subject to change). Kelsey is an up and coming pop/soul artist and I like to refer to her style as singer-songwriter, piano-driven, soulful pop-rock. If you know Kelsey you realize that she probably has more energy and enthusiasm than anyone else you know, which makes for some cool music when she harnesses all that excitement. And, this kind of energy is very contagious, so I'm anxious to see what the outcome is with this project. Her songs venture from beautiful to “poppy”, funky to somewhat edgy at times, while all the songs retain a strong message. She's definitely got something to say to her audience and that's part of what has drawn me to work on this particular album. I am thrilled to be onboard this project and look forward to sharing this passionate, soulful, artistic record with you when it's released in late spring/early summer. So, stay tuned.
